Privacy policy
Effective 2 October 2026
Scheduled Posting is a personal tool at scheduled-posting.interestingstuff.xyz. Its owner uses it to upload videos to their own YouTube channel and set when each video becomes public. This policy explains what information the tool touches and what happens to it.
YouTube API Services
Scheduled Posting uses YouTube API Services to upload videos. By using it you also agree to the YouTube Terms of Service, and Google handles your information under the Google Privacy Policy.
What the tool can access
When you connect a YouTube channel, Google asks you to grant one permission: uploading videos to that channel (the youtube.upload scope). With it, the tool can:
- upload a video file you choose to your channel;
- set that video's title, description, tags, category, audience setting, visibility and publish time.
It cannot read your channel's existing videos, comments, subscribers or analytics, and it cannot edit or delete anything already on your channel. It does not receive your Google password.
How information is used
The video file and the details you type are sent directly from your browser to YouTube, and only when you press "Upload to YouTube". They are used for that upload and nothing else.
Google gives your browser a temporary access token when you connect. The token is held in the page's memory, is used only to authorise the upload, and is discarded when you disconnect, close the tab or reload the page.
What is stored
Nothing. Scheduled Posting has no database and no server-side application. It does not store your videos, your video details, your access token, or any data received from YouTube. It sets no cookies and writes nothing to your browser's storage.
What is shared
Information you enter is shared with YouTube, because that is where you are uploading it. It is not sold, and it is not shared with anyone else.
Two other services are involved in delivering the site itself:
- Cloudflare hosts the site and, like any web host, processes the IP address and browser details of each request.
- Google serves the sign-in script and the site's fonts, so your browser makes requests to Google when the page loads.
The site has no analytics, advertising or tracking scripts.
Removing access
Press "Disconnect" on the upload page to revoke the tool's access to your channel. You can also revoke it at any time from your Google account's security settings page. Because nothing is stored, there is no stored data to delete. Videos you have uploaded stay on your channel until you remove them in YouTube.
Changes
If this policy changes, the new version will be posted on this page with a new effective date.
